This visualization shows the estimated 2010 religious breakdown of the 20 most populous countries, with each country rendered as a horizontal stacked bar chart. The data comes from the Pew Research Global Religious Landscape. Hovering over any bar segment displays a tooltip with the religion, country, and population value. Hovering over the color legend highlights the corresponding religion across all countries while fading the others. The visualization uses D3.js version 3.5.5 with the d3.layout.stack API for the stacked bars, d3.svg.axis for scales, d3.legend for the interactive color legend, and d3-tip for tooltips.
