Fork of Choropleth Map

This choropleth map colors world countries according to their economy category using a spectral color scale. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `select`, `geoPath`, and `scaleOrdinal` APIs, with a `topojson` loader for geographic data from the world-atlas package. The map includes a custom legend built with the `colorLegend` module, and supports zooming via `d3.zoom`, while country boundaries are rendered as SVG paths with hover highlighting.

Fork of Circles on a Map

This visualization displays global population by country in 2018, with semi-transparent circles positioned at each country's centroid whose area encodes population size. The map uses a natural Earth projection rendered through `d3.geoPath`, while population data loads from a CSV file and country boundaries come from TopoJSON. Users can pan and zoom via `d3.zoom`, and hovering over a country reveals its name and population in a tooltip. The code also implements custom size and color legends, with the latter built using `scaleOrdinal` and `schemeSpectral`.
