Fork of D3
This example demonstrates a minimal D3.js scatterplot setup, rendering an SVG canvas with a slate blue background and a single text label reading “test of D3.js.” The code uses D3 v6’s `select` function to target the SVG element and chain `.style()` and `.append()` methods to apply styling and add the text. The visualization is entirely static, with no data points or interaction despite the README’s mention of interactivity, and the text’s color property is set via CSS `style` but is overridden by the SVG’s default fill.
