HTML Starter

This example demonstrates a minimal webpage that displays the text “Hello HTML” centered on the screen. The page uses plain HTML with embedded CSS to control the text size and alignment, while a small JavaScript snippet logs “Hello JavaScript!” to the browser’s developer console. It serves as a basic template for combining HTML, CSS, and JavaScript without any external libraries or frameworks.

Rotating Globe

A rotating orthographic globe displays Earth's landmasses in sky blue against a black background, with graticule lines and interactive country names on hover. The rotation is driven by a `d3.timer` that continuously updates the projection's rotation angles, while `d3.geoOrthographic` and `d3.geoPath` render the sphere and features. World map data comes from the `world-atlas` package, loaded via `d3.json` and `d3.tsv`, with country names built into a lookup table. The visualization uses SVG for rendering within a `d3` framework.

Shapes with SVG

This example demonstrates fundamental SVG shapes and transformations using raw SVG markup within a React starter template. It shows circles, rectangles, lines, and paths with varying fill colors, stroke styles, and coordinate positioning. The code applies grouping and transformation attributes like `scale` and `translate` to organize and position the geometric elements. It uses native SVG elements such as `<circle>`, `<rect>`, `<line>`, and `<path>`, showcasing how static vector graphics can be composed directly in JSX without external charting libraries.
