D3 Starter
This example demonstrates the minimal setup required to begin working with D3 version 7, using an SVG element as the rendering target. The code loads d3 from a CDN and imports the `select` function to target the `#viz` container, though the script remains incomplete. It serves as a starting point for understanding how to structure a D3 project, with a companion video explaining the basics. The visualization itself does not display any data, focusing instead on the foundational boilerplate for building more complex charts.
