Fork of Fork of HIV/AIDS Choropleth Map
A choropleth map displays the prevalence of HIV/AIDS among adults aged 15-49 across countries for the year 2017, using a yellow-orange-red sequential color scale to indicate infection rates, with gray for missing data. Built with React and D3 v5, the visualization uses `geoNaturalEarth1` and `geoPath` to project country boundaries from World Atlas TopoJSON, overlaid with graticules and interior boundaries. Data comes from an IHME CSV file, joined to country shapes via ISO numeric codes, with color values scaled using `scaleSequential` and `interpolateYlOrRd`.
