Sol LeWitt Exercise
A reproduction of a Sol LeWitt art piece uses custom JavaScript in an empty HTML page to draw geometric patterns directly onto the Canvas API, with no external libraries. The code renders lines and shapes procedurally, mimicking LeWitt’s wall drawings through algorithmic placement and repetition. The page resets its margins and hides overflow to present the artwork full-screen. The rendering approach focuses on pure geometry and line work, echoing LeWitt’s instructional, rule-based aesthetic without relying on data inputs or simulation libraries.
