Fork of Super Car Sales

This example displays a summary of metadata for a car sales dataset, showing the file size, row count, and column count after loading a CSV file. The page uses D3.js’s `d3.csv` to fetch and parse the data from a GitHub Gist, and `d3.csvFormat` to calculate the byte size. The results are rendered into an HTML `<pre>` element, with a centered background image of a car and red headings, all styled via CSS. The visualization focuses on presenting basic dataset statistics rather than graphical charts.

Super Car Sales

This visualization presents meta-information about a car sales dataset, displaying the file size, row count, and column count in a large, bold text overlay. The page centers a custom background SVG image of a car, with red headings and a hyperlink to the raw CSV data file hosted on GitHub Gist. The example uses the D3.js library, specifically the `d3.csv` and `d3.csvFormat` APIs, to fetch and analyze the dataset, then updates a `<pre>` element with the computed summary.

Fork of Fork of Let's make a face with D3.js!

This example demonstrates basic D3.js DOM manipulation by constructing a yellow smiley face with green eyes, red arc mouth, and grey eyebrows that animate upward and back down in a looping transition. The code builds SVG shapes—circles, rectangles, and a path using the `d3.arc` helper—inside a centered group, then applies chained `transition().duration(2000)` calls to move the eyebrow group along the y-axis. The face is rendered in an SVG canvas with dimensions set from the HTML attributes, and all styling is applied directly via D3 attribute methods.
