This dashboard displays student performance metrics over time using bandlines, which highlight the range of scores across a cohort while plotting each individual student’s trajectory. It recreates Stephen Few’s design, with rows representing students and columns for each assessment period. Built with D3.js, the visualization uses SVG rendering, and interactive features allow brushing rows to update aggregate distributions and clicking column headers to temporarily re-sort the data. The implementation leverages the custom `bandline` module, along with the `du` and `model` utilities, to handle the data and rendering logic.
