This example compares GDP per capita and the top 1%’s share of income for five countries using two side-by-side bar charts rendered as SVG. Each bar’s width encodes the respective measure, and hovering reveals a tooltip with the country name and value. The data, loaded from a CSV file, is sorted by GDP per capita before rendering. The visualization uses D3 v3 to bind data, create rectangles with rounded corners, and append title elements for interactivity.
