This example draws a parallel coordinates plot of automotive specifications from a small CSV dataset, with eight vertical axes for attributes like fuel economy, cylinders, and model year. Each car is shown as a polyline connecting its attribute values. It supports one-to-many highlighting: hovering over an axis label or a line fades out all unrelated items. The code uses d3.svg.axis for axes, d3.scale.ordinal and d3.svg.line for the polylines, and d3.select's mouseover handlers to trigger the active/inactive class toggles.
