The Pimoroni Badger 2040 W e-ink device generates interactive, choose-your-own-adventure stories via MicroPython. Each button press sends the current story state and selected option to a Flask server, which uses the OpenAI API to generate short narrative continuations and three numbered choices. The server maintains per-client story history and formats responses as "### HISTORIA:" and "### OPCIONES:" blocks, with the Badger displaying the story and handling button inputs for choices and text scrolling. This creates a closed-loop interactive fiction system on e-paper hardware.

Pracitcas con OLED display acumulativas de LDI

This visualization demonstrates a Raspberry Pi Pico W with an OLED display, combining two interactive exercises. The first shows a regional weather menu with five simple animated icon bitmaps controlled by physical buttons. The second displays a short, pre-prompted response from the OpenAI API, such as a joke or recipe, with the output truncated to fit the screen. The code uses the `ssd1306` library for OLED rendering and the `urequests` library to call OpenAI's chat completions endpoint, managing the API response text for clear on-device display.

This example presents a collection of ten educational MicroPython programs for the Raspberry Pi Pico W, each integrating a digital or analog sensor with an SSD1306 OLED display. The programs demonstrate real-time data visualization, such as a weather station using a DHT22 sensor, and include a custom SSD1306 driver class for I2C communication. The code relies on the `machine` module’s `Pin` and `I2C` classes, along with the `dht` library, and implements a basic 8x8 pixel font for on-screen text rendering. The project targets the Wokwi simulator or physical hardware.

Pico:ed Comprehensive Demo (CircuitPython)

This demo turns the ELECFREAKS Pico:ed RP2040 board into an interactive hardware showcase, using the 17×7 IS31FL3731 LED matrix as a live data display. Button A cycles through menu items, Button B activates a feature, and pressing both exits early. A scanner auto-detects external I2C sensors (MPU6050, QMC5883L, HMC5883L) and reports results on the matrix; the on-board RP2040 die temperature sensor drives a real-time readout. Code is a single `code.py` that runs directly from the CIRCUITPY drive, exercising the board's buttons, buzzer, and temperature sensor while adapting to whatever I2C breakout is connected.

Gist 82d472ceee4909cc7880ce2b2e0885dc

This example shows a MicroPython learning activity where an ESP32 or Raspberry Pi Pico W sends prompts to the OpenAI ChatGPT API and displays the text response on an SSD1306 OLED display via I²C. The code uses `network.WLAN` for Wi-Fi connectivity, `urequests.post` to call the chat completions endpoint, and `SSD1306_I2C` from the `ssd1306` library to render the reply. The demonstration includes connection setup, JSON response parsing, and a simple text-wrapping routine for the OLED’s 16-character line width, with optional scroll or truncation for longer answers.

This example shows a Raspberry Pi Pico W microcontroller consulting an AI model to decide on greenhouse ventilation and displaying the response on an OLED screen. It simulates temperature and humidity sensor readings, sends them via the `urequests` library to OpenAI’s Chat Completions API (GPT-3.5-turbo), and renders the AI’s decision on an SSD1306 OLED display using `ssd1306` and the I2C protocol. The code also uses the `network` module to connect to Wi-Fi, with data refreshed every 15 seconds.

Microbit para Taller de Cultura Digital usando Vibe Conding

This gallery example presents a Markdown-based teaching guide for a digital culture workshop, using a vibe coding methodology with the Micro:bit platform. It shows a structured table of 40 mini-projects organized into administrative categories such as time management, inventory control, personnel, finance, and customer service. Each row details a project name, its objective, estimated duration of one or two sessions, and a difficulty rating. The document is purely textual, outlining a pedagogical framework for rapid prototyping rather than visualizing data, with its layout structured through standard Markdown table syntax.

This example demonstrates a catalog of 45 MicroPython lab exercises for the Raspberry Pi Pico W, covering Bluetooth (BLE and classic HC-05) communication and OLED display control. Each exercise pairs a specific practice—such as BLE scanning, sensor data transmission, or relay control—with recommended Android/iOS apps and the primary lab function. The code references the `bluetooth`, `machine`, and `ssd1306` libraries to manage wireless links and render output on the SSD1306 or SH1106 display. The list is structured as a Markdown table, detailing the Bluetooth type, app, and purpose for each numbered activity.

Práctica: Pico W como cliente IoT con API Key — 100 proyectos — Lenguajes de Interfaz ITT

This visualization documents a three-layer IoT architecture that connects a Raspberry Pi Pico W to cloud-based large language models, demonstrating a secure proxy solution for HTTP-only microcontrollers. The practice shows a flow diagram of data passing from the Pico W’s MicroPython sensor logic and a local mini-RAG knowledge base, through a FastAPI proxy running on a laptop, to a Google Apps Script backend that holds the API key and calls OpenAI’s GPT-4o-mini. The example uses JSON payloads for data exchange, and renders the architecture as WebGL with a Vue-based interface, highlighting the responsibilities of each layer in a table format.
