Seven Symbols displays the seven symbol types provided by d3-shape—circle, cross, diamond, square, star, triangle, and wye—each rendered as an SVG path with a fixed area of 2500 square pixels and a red reference circle showing its bounding radius. The paths are centered on their centroids and continuously rotate using d3.timer, with the rotation applied via the transform attribute. The code selects all path elements, binds each to its corresponding d3.symbol type, and regenerates the path data each frame using the symbol.type() function.
