This example displays the string returned by an HTTP GET request to a remote CGI endpoint. The visualization uses the p5.js library to create a 640 by 480 pixel canvas and draw the fetched text at a fixed position with a specified size and fill color. The data source is the `fourth.cgi` script hosted on a University of Toronto server, accessed via the `httpGet` function within the continuous `draw` loop.

A p5.js sketch renders the sentence "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." in a 640 by 480 canvas, displaying the text at a fixed position with a 30-pixel font size. The code uses the p5.js `createCanvas` and `text` functions, with `setup()` initializing the canvas and `draw()` repeatedly writing the string. No interactive or animated elements are present, and the example does not load external data, as evidenced by the commented-out `httpGet` call.

This example displays a static image of a decorative banner, loaded from an external URL and drawn onto a 640×480 canvas using p5.js. The sketch preloads the image file in the `preload()` function and renders it with `image(img, 0, 0, 400, 200)` in `setup()`. Although the `draw()` loop contains logic to change the fill color based on mouse input, no shapes are actually drawn in that loop, so the visualization remains purely a fixed image. The code relies on p5.js’s `loadImage`, `createCanvas`, and `image` functions.

This example uses the p5.js library to display a static block of sample text over a blue canvas. It fetches current weather data for New York City from the OpenWeatherMap API, then extracts the humidity value to control the transparency of 50 randomly placed circles. The drawing function renders the text and ellipses each frame, while the background color remains constant. The data is loaded asynchronously via loadJSON, with the humidity affecting only the circle fill alpha.

A p5.js sketch displays the string "Un exemple" one character at a time, with the current character rendered in large yellow text on a blue rectangle against a gray background. Pressing the spacebar advances the counter to show the next character in the sequence. The code uses the p5.js `setup`, `draw`, and `keyTyped` functions, along with `textFont`, `textSize`, and `fill` to style the output. The text font is set to "Alpha Sausage," and the canvas is fixed at 500 by 500 pixels.

The visualization displays a single line of text reading "Yerrr" in a monospace font, positioned near the upper-left corner of an SVG canvas. It is built with D3 v4, using the `d3.select` method to target the HTML body and `append("svg")` to create a 960 by 500 pixel canvas. A `text` element is added with attributes for font size, family, and coordinate placement. The rendering relies on SVG, with the source originating from a gist authored by LaurynKW.

This example displays the sentence "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." as static text on a 640×480 canvas using the p5.js library. It also plays a doorbell sound file, loaded via `loadSound()` from p5.sound, with volume set to 0.1. The code does not render any data visualization, animation, or interactive elements beyond the text and audio playback.

This simple example displays the static text “First fun with blockbuilder.org!!!” in a monospace font on an empty SVG canvas. The visualization uses D3 v4 to select the HTML body element, append a 960-by-500-pixel SVG, and add a single text element at specified x and y coordinates. The code relies on d3.select, d3.append, and SVG text attributes to position and style the message, with no data source or interaction involved.

Two empty square divs sit side by side, one red and one blue, each 200 pixels wide and tall. The page currently contains no data or visualization logic; the embedded script tag is blank. The example relies on the D3.js v4 library loaded from a CDN, though no D3 functions or APIs are invoked. The layout uses a fixed-position body with inline-styled divs to create a simple placeholder canvas, indicating a starting point for a future chart rather than a finished graphic.
