This example demonstrates the Wagner VI map projection, a compromise projection that balances area and shape distortion, rendered as a static SVG world map. The visualization draws a graticule grid, a filled sphere outline, landmasses in dark gray, and country boundaries in white. The code uses `d3.geo.wagner6` from the D3 geo.projection plugin, along with `d3.geo.path` and `d3.geo.graticule`, to project and render geographic data from a TopoJSON world dataset. Land and boundary features are extracted using `topojson.feature` and `topojson.mesh`.
AI-generated descriptionThe Wagner VI projection is available as d3.geo.wagner6 in the geo.projection D3 plugin.
