The visualization renders an area chart that fills the space beneath the temperature curve, using a smooth basis curve to connect daily data points. The code uses d3.csv to load the dataset, d3.scaleTime and d3.scaleLinear for scaling, d3.axisLeft and d3.axisBottom for axes, and the d3.area generator with curveBasis to create the filled path.
