A fork of a Sol LeWitt-inspired generative drawing creates an abstract composition of vertical black and white stripes overlaid with a circular mask. The artwork shows a central circle filled with alternating horizontal and vertical bands, while the surrounding canvas displays only the vertical stripe pattern. The code builds an SVG dynamically using vanilla JavaScript DOM manipulation, creating two masks with `circle` and `rect` elements to control visibility. One hundred `rect` elements are generated for each direction, with the vertical bars referencing `url(#circle-mask-2)` to produce the layered effect within the circular region.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This piece renders an abstract, generative composition inspired by Sol LeWitt’s wall drawings. It shows a circular mask overlaid with two sets of alternating horizontal and vertical stripes, creating a crosshatch pattern that fades to reveal a central white circle against a black background. The code uses the SVG API via JavaScript to create a full-viewport canvas, dynamically setting element attributes like width, height, and mask references. Two SVG masks (`circle-mask` and `circle-mask-2`) define the visible regions for the 100 horizontal and vertical rectangles drawn in looping iterations.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

A fork of a Sol LeWitt reproduction generates an abstract geometric composition from two overlapping SVG mask patterns. It shows alternating horizontal and vertical striped bands intersecting in a grid, with a circular cutout revealing the layered structure. The code builds an SVG scene using raw DOM APIs (`document.createElementNS`) and applies two circular masks (`circle-mask` and `circle-mask-2`) to control which stripes appear inside the central circle. A series of 100 rectangles for each orientation form the visual output, with no external data or libraries beyond the browser's native SVG support.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

A fork of Sol LeWitt’s art reproduction renders a black-and-white geometric composition using SVG. The code creates a full-screen SVG canvas and defines two circular masks, one with a black background and white circle, the other inverted, to frame the drawing. It then generates 100 horizontal rectangles, each 10 pixels tall, stacked vertically at 20-pixel intervals, applying the first mask to each rectangle. The result is a series of striped horizontal bands that appear only inside the circular viewing area, leaving the surrounding canvas blank.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This fork of a Sol LeWitt reproduction creates an abstract composition of horizontal and vertical bands intersecting within two circular masks. The SVG rendering uses JavaScript to generate 100 horizontal rectangles and 100 vertical rectangles, with each set clipped by a separate mask. The first mask reveals the horizontal bands through a white circle on a black background, while the second mask inverts the effect, showing vertical bands through the opposite circular region. The code builds the SVG structure dynamically via `document.createElementNS`, producing a geometric interplay between the two masked line grids.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction Mask

A fork of Sol LeWitt’s geometric art, this visualization renders a series of horizontal black stripes across the full browser window, with a circular region in the center masked out to reveal the white background. The composition uses an SVG `mask` element to create the circle, while JavaScript dynamically generates 100 rectangles, each 10 pixels tall, and applies the mask to them. The code relies on native SVG APIs, including `createElementNS` and `setAttribute`, without any external libraries.

Fork of Sol Lewitt Reproduction vertical

A vertical grid of thin black and white rectangles creates a striped pattern, with a circular mask revealing a central white circle against black. A second mask inverts the effect, producing a contrasting ring of horizontal and vertical lines. The piece is generated entirely with native SVG and JavaScript, using dynamically created `rect` elements and two circle-based masks to layer the visual composition. It is a reproduction of a Sol LeWitt art piece.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This fork of a Sol LeWitt reproduction generates an abstract, grid-based composition entirely with SVG elements. It shows a central circular mask that reveals alternating horizontal and vertical stripes across the full screen. The code creates two masks—one with a black background and white circle, another with a white background and black circle—to control which stripes are visible. It uses the raw SVG DOM API via `document.createElementNS` to draw 100 horizontal rectangles and 100 vertical rectangles, each 10 pixels thick, with the masks applied to create the overlapping circle effect. No external libraries are used; only native JavaScript and SVG.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

A fork of a Sol LeWitt reproduction renders a grid of horizontal and vertical stripes confined to two circular masks. The piece uses raw SVG elements created via the DOM API, with a mask containing a white circle over a black rectangle to reveal horizontal bars, and a second inverted mask to show vertical bars. Each stripe is a `rect` element positioned in a loop, with the masks applied via the `mask` attribute. The composition dynamically fills the browser window, creating a minimalist geometric interplay between line and void.
