World Happiness Scatter Plot with Menus
This interactive scatter plot explores relationships among well-being indicators for 156 countries, using data from the World Happiness Report. Two dropdown menus let users select which metrics to compare on the x- and y-axes, including happiness score, GDP, school years, health expenditure, and employment rate. The visualization uses React for UI state management and d3.scaleLinear for positioning axes and d3.scaleOrdinal for coloring points. SVG circles render each country, with hover tooltips showing the x-axis value.
