This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world regions and countries as an interactive tree. The root node “World” branches into continents, subregions, and individual nations, with text labels sized by depth. Built with D3 v5 in React, it uses `d3.tree` and `d3.hierarchy` with `d3.linkHorizontal` for curved links, while `d3.zoom` enables panning and scaling. Country data comes from `data.json`, rendered as an SVG with Playfair Display typography.

World Tree

The World Tree visualization displays a hierarchical dataset of global regions and countries as a radial tree diagram. It uses D3’s `tree` layout and `hierarchy` function to compute node positions, with SVG `path` elements representing the links between parent and child nodes. The interactive chart is built with D3 v5 within a React framework, using `json()` to load the data and `select()` to manage the SVG canvas. Text labels are styled with a serif font and white text shadow for readability.

World countries tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as an interactive tree diagram. Using D3.js v5 with a React framework, it renders SVG elements with the `tree` layout and `linkHorizontal` generator to create branching paths. The code loads hierarchical JSON data and supports pan-and-zoom interactions via `d3.zoom`, with text labels sized proportionally to depth within the hierarchy.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, rendered as a horizontal tree layout. The code uses D3’s `tree()` layout with `linkHorizontal` for curved links, and applies `zoom()` for panning and scaling. Text labels scale in font size based on depth, with the root at the top. The data comes from a static JSON file with nested nodes representing regions and countries.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion. It uses a horizontal tree layout with D3.js v5, rendering SVG elements for both links and text labels. The code applies D3's `tree()`, `hierarchy()`, `linkHorizontal()`, and `zoom()` APIs to construct the layout and enable interactive panning and zooming. The underlying data comes from a JSON file containing nested country and region names.

World Countries Tree

This visualization presents a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with text labels sized inversely to their depth in the hierarchy. The D3.js code loads data from a JSON file, uses the `tree` layout and `linkHorizontal` path generator to position nodes and draw curved links, and renders the result as SVG. Pan and zoom interactions are enabled through D3’s `zoom` behavior, while the root view adapts to the browser window dimensions.

World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays the hierarchical organization of world countries, grouped by continent and subregion, using a tree layout that branches from a central root. The code constructs the tree structure from JSON data with `d3.hierarchy` and positions nodes using `d3.tree`, rendering curved vertical links with `d3.linkVertical` and labels as SVG text elements. Each country appears as a labeled point, with the tree expanding downward to reveal the nested geographic groupings.

World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, rendered as an indented tree layout. It uses D3.js v5 with the `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` APIs to compute positions and draw links, along with `zoom` and `event` for pan-and-zoom interaction. The data is loaded from `data.json` via `json()`. Node labels show country names with font size decreasing by depth, and the SVG output uses a teal stroke for connecting paths.
