This scatter plot displays population data for ten countries using D3.js v5. The visualization renders as an SVG scatter plot, with each country represented as a point. The code uses d3.csv to load the dataset from a local CSV file and d3.select to manipulate the SVG container. While the current implementation parses the data, it does not yet map the population values to visual x and y coordinates for the circles, leaving the scatter plot incomplete. The page layout is minimal with body overflow hidden and the SVG dimensions fixed at 960 by 500 pixels.
