This example shows a bar chart of categorical frequencies, where hovering over a bar highlights it, enlarges its width, and displays divergence values—the difference between each other bar’s value and the hovered bar’s value—above all bars. Built with D3 v5, it uses SVG for rendering and transitions on mouseenter to animate the hovered bar’s position and size. The chart includes rotated x-axis labels, horizontal gridlines, and a title, while data is hardcoded in the script.
