Forked from HTML Starter

This example demonstrates the fundamental building blocks of SVG by rendering a large, centered text message using CSS styling within an HTML page. The page sets up a minimal document structure with a `.message` class that defines a font size of 13em and centers the text horizontally. While the body contains no visible SVG elements or JavaScript logic, the example serves as a starting point for understanding how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together in a visualization context, with the README referencing a React Starter alternative.

SVG FUNDAMENTALS

This example demonstrates the foundational contrast between HTML and SVG rendering by displaying a large, centered text message styled with CSS. The page uses a simple HTML structure with a `div` element carrying the class `message`, which applies a font-size of 13em and text alignment. It does not utilize any JavaScript or data visualization libraries, remaining a bare-bones starting point for exploring SVG fundamentals within a React context. The code highlights basic CSS styling applied directly to an HTML element.

SVG fundamentals

This example demonstrates fundamental SVG rendering and styling with a large, centered text message. The code uses an HTML page with embedded CSS to position and size the text, while JavaScript handles the SVG creation process. It provides a minimal starting point for understanding how visual elements are structured and styled, complemented by a reference to a React-based starter project for more advanced implementations.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates the foundational structure of an SVG-based web page by rendering a simple, centered text message. It shows how HTML and CSS combine to style a static graphic element, using a bare minimum HTML page with embedded CSS and JavaScript. The code relies on native HTML elements and CSS properties like `font-size` and `text-align` to control the visual presentation, without incorporating any external libraries or data-driven rendering.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates a minimal SVG fundamentals setup, rendering a centered HTML message using CSS for styling. The page uses plain HTML and CSS, with the `.message` class applying a large font size and text alignment. It relies on the native HTML `<div>` element for content display, with no JavaScript data visualization or SVG graphics involved. The code serves as a bare-bones starting point for integrating SVG and CSS into a React-based visualization project, as referenced in the associated starter link.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates the foundational layers of SVG-based data visualization with a minimal HTML page. It uses CSS and JavaScript to render a large, centered text message directly in the browser. The page combines an HTML `style` block that sets the font size to 13em with the `.message` class, and a plain `div` element containing the greeting "Hello HTML!". The code highlights the essential structure of an SVG-capable document, though it does not yet include any SVG elements or data-driven graphics.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates fundamental web technologies for rendering visual content, starting with a plain HTML page that styles a large text message using CSS. It illustrates the foundational structure of an HTML document, including the `<head>` section for metadata and styles, and a `<body>` containing a styled `div` element. The code uses vanilla JavaScript and CSS, with no external libraries, and shows how to set a font size and center text alignment for a simple, static display. This serves as a minimal starting point for building more complex visualizations.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates the foundational structure of an SVG-based visualization by rendering a simple, styled message. It shows how a static HTML page can integrate CSS for layout and visual design, centering a large text element. The code uses the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) paradigm implicitly through HTML elements, though the visible implementation relies on standard HTML and CSS rather than a dedicated data-driven library. The rendering approach is direct DOM manipulation via the `<div>` element, with no external JavaScript libraries or data sources involved. It serves as a minimal, bare-bones starting point for understanding how markup, styling, and scripting combine in a web context.
