This dashboard visualizes the FIFA 19 dataset, showing player distribution across countries and clubs. A world map displays the number of players per nationality using circles sized with `d3.scaleSqrt`, with zoom and brushing interactions. A Sankey diagram connects nationalities to clubs, using `d3.sankey` with draggable nodes and tooltips. The visualization uses React, D3 v4, and TopoJSON, rendering as SVG.

Dashboard - Final Project - FIFA 19 Dataset

This dashboard explores the FIFA 19 dataset, integrating a world map with bubble markers, a Sankey diagram, and a scatterplot to reveal player distributions. The map uses `d3.geoNaturalEarth1` and `d3.geoPath` with topojson data, scaling circle radii by player count. The Sankey chart, built with the `d3.sankey` layout, visualizes flows from nationality to club. The scatterplot displays player overall rating against wage, supporting brush-based selection to highlight individual players.

Fork of Project

This dashboard presents FIFA player statistics, allowing users to filter by nationality through a dropdown menu. It displays summary metrics like total players, average overall rating, and total clubs, alongside multiple D3.js charts: a bar chart of top clubs by average overall, a pie chart for club value, an age histogram, and a wage-versus-potential bubble chart. The visualizations are built with d3.v7, using APIs like `d3.csv`, `d3.rollups`, `d3.scaleBand`, and `d3.scaleLinear`. Data is fetched from a remote CSV file, and rendering is done via SVG with a tooltip for interactivity.

Fork of Football Goal Scorers Dashboard

This interactive dashboard visualizes football player performance across European leagues, showing how metrics like goals, shots, and expected goals vary by league and season. It integrates a scatter plot, bar chart, line chart, and parallel coordinates plot, all driven by React state management. Users can filter data through dropdown menus, brush the parallel coordinates to filter players, and hover over marks for details. The visualization leverages D3’s `scaleLinear`, `scalePoint`, `brushY`, and `transition` APIs, rendering animated updates from a Kaggle dataset of top league scorers.

Players by Country

This interactive dashboard combines a choropleth map with a scatter plot to visualize international football (soccer) players by country. The map colors nations by win percentage, while the scatter plot displays each country’s tournament appearances against wins, with point size encoding population and color indicating continent. Built with React and D3 v6, the visualization uses `d3.geoEqualEarth` for map projection, `d3.geoPath` for drawing country boundaries, and `d3.scaleLinear` and `d3.scaleOrdinal` for encoding data. An SVG-based tooltip provides additional detail on hover.

Fork of Football Goal Scorers Dashboard

This dashboard visualizes football player statistics from the Kaggle "Top Football League Scorers" dataset, showing how metrics like shots, goals, and expected goals evolve. The view combines a line chart tracking individual players’ performance over time with an interactive dropdown menu to switch between statistical measures. Built with React and D3, the implementation uses `scaleTime`, `scaleLinear`, and `flatGroup` to structure the data, while `line` generators and D3's `transition` system animate hover effects and emphasis on the plotted paths.

Sankey Final

A Sankey diagram maps the nationalities of FIFA 19 players to the football clubs they play for, with link thickness representing the number of players per nationality-club pair. The visualization uses the D3.js library, specifically the d3-sankey plugin for layout, and renders nodes and links as SVG elements. Data is loaded from a local CSV file, colors are assigned via d3.scale.category20, and interactive node dragging is enabled through d3.behavior.drag.

Fork of Football Goal Scorers Dashboard

This interactive dashboard visualizes football league scorer statistics from a Kaggle dataset, showing relationships between metrics like goals, shots, and expected goals across leagues. Users can switch between scatter plots, bar charts, line charts, and parallel coordinates to explore the data, with each view offering different analytical perspectives. The scatter plot and parallel coordinates use `colorScale` from `d3-scaleOrdinal` to distinguish leagues, while brushing on the parallel coordinates filters data across multiple dimensions simultaneously. Built with React and rendered using SVG with D3.js transitions for smooth animations between states, the interface includes dropdown menus for dynamic axis selection and year filtering.
