MuscleCars tree

MuscleCars tree

An animated, zoomable tree diagram organizes a hierarchy of muscle car models, starting with Muscle Cars and branching through Ford and Dodge to models like Mustang, Torino, Charger, and Challenger, with further sub-models. The visualization uses D3 v3 to render the tree as SVG, with nodes as colored rectangles based on type and links with directional arrows. It supports zooming and panning through mouse interactions, and uses a breadth-first traversal to lay out the nodes. The data is loaded from an external JSON file.

MuscleCars tree

This interactive tree diagram visualizes the hierarchical relationships among muscle car models, starting from the root "Muscle Cars" and branching into manufacturers like Ford and Dodge, then down to specific models such as Mustang and Charger. Built with D3.js v3, it renders nodes and links as SVG elements with animated expansions and collapses. The code uses `d3.layout.tree` for positioning, `d3.behavior.zoom` for pan and zoom interactions, and loads hierarchical data from a JSON file via `d3.json`. Node colors correspond to type classifications in the dataset.

MuscleCars tree

An interactive SVG tree diagram visualizes a hierarchy of muscle car models, from the "Muscle Cars" root down to Ford, Dodge, and their specific models like Mustang and Charger. Nodes are color-coded by type and rendered as rounded rectangles with drop shadows. The visualization uses D3 v3's `d3.layout.tree` for layout, with pan and zoom via `d3.behavior.zoom`, and animated updates on node click. Data is loaded from a static JSON file (Tree.json) and styled using external CSS.

MuscleCars tree

This interactive tree diagram visualizes a hierarchy of muscle car models, starting with a root "Muscle Cars" node that branches into Ford and Dodge, then into specific models like Mustang, Charger, and Hellcat. The layout uses d3.layout.tree to arrange nodes, with each node color-coded by its type level and rendered as SVG rectangles with drop shadows. Users can click nodes to collapse or expand branches, while links display text labels and directional arrows. The visualization also includes zoom and drag behavior via d3.behavior.zoom, with data loaded from a JSON file.

MuscleCars tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of muscle car models organized by manufacturer, with root node "Muscle Cars" branching to Ford and Dodge, then down to specific models like Mustang and Charger. It uses D3.js v3 with the `d3.layout.tree` API to arrange nodes. The SVG rendering includes color-coded nodes by hierarchy depth, expandable/collapsible interactions on click, and zoom-and-drag behavior via `d3.behavior.zoom`. Data comes from the provided Tree.json file, with tooltips and animated transitions for node updates.

MuscleCars tree

A hierarchical tree visualization displays the relationship between muscle car models, with nodes for Ford and Dodge branching into their respective sub-models like Mustang, Torino, Charger, and Challenger. The example loads data from a JSON file and uses D3.js v3 to render the tree layout. Nodes and links are drawn with SVG, and the visualization includes interactive features like zooming and tooltips. The different car types are distinguished by color, and a drop-shadow filter is applied to the rectangular nodes for visual depth.

MuscleCars tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of muscle car models organized by their manufacturers, with nodes representing brands like Ford and Dodge and their respective car models such as Mustang and Charger. The tree uses color-coded nodes based on hierarchy depth and includes interactive features like clickable nodes and zooming via d3.behavior.zoom. Built with D3.js v3, it renders the structure as an animated SVG, pulling data from a JSON file and styling nodes with rect elements and tooltips.

MuscleCars tree

This is a D3.js tree diagram that visualizes the hierarchy of Muscle Cars, branching from the root into manufacturers like Ford and Dodge, and then into specific models like Mustang, Torino, Charger, and Challenger. Node colors are assigned by a `type` field, and the layout uses `d3.layout.tree()` to position nodes hierarchically. The visualization is rendered as SVG and supports zooming and panning through `d3.behavior.zoom()`. Links are drawn as bezier curves with arrow markers, and tooltips appear on hover. The data comes from a local `Tree.json` file, and interactions include node collapsing and expanding.
