This example creates a full-screen, rounded rectangle that fills the browser viewport. It uses the d3-selection module via `select` to target the SVG element, then dynamically sets the SVG’s width and height attributes based on the document’s client dimensions. A single `<rect>` is appended with a 40-pixel corner radius (`rx`), demonstrating a minimal D3 v5 setup with SVG rendering and no data binding. The styling uses fixed positioning to prevent page scrolling.

Fork of Blank Canvas

This example creates a full-screen, rounded rectangle that fills the browser window. It uses D3 v5 to select the SVG element and dynamically sets its dimensions based on the viewport’s client width and height. The code appends a single `rect` element with a 40-pixel corner radius, rendering a minimal blank canvas. No data is loaded; the focus is purely on establishing a responsive SVG drawing surface using D3’s `select` and attribute manipulation.

Fork of Blank Canvas

A full-window SVG renders a single rounded rectangle that fills the entire viewport. The example demonstrates a minimal D3 setup, using `select` to target the `svg` element and setting its `width` and `height` attributes from `document.body.clientWidth` and `clientHeight`. A `rect` is appended with matching dimensions and a corner radius of 40 pixels. The SVG is styled with fixed positioning and hidden overflow, creating a blank canvas with no data or interaction.

Fork of Blank Canvas

This fork of a blank canvas renders a single, large rounded rectangle that fills the entire browser viewport. The SVG canvas is dynamically sized using the document’s client dimensions, and a `rect` element is appended with a 40-pixel corner radius. Built with D3 v5 and SVG, the example uses `select` to target the `svg` element and sets its `width` and `height` attributes before adding the shape, demonstrating a minimal setup for a full-screen static visualization.

Fork of Blank Canvas

A full-window SVG canvas presents a single rounded rectangle on a blank page. The rectangle is sized to match the browser viewport dimensions, which are read from `document.body.clientWidth` and `document.body.clientHeight`. The code uses D3 v5's `select` to append the shape, setting its corner radius with `attr('rx', 40)`. The example demonstrates a minimal setup for creating a responsive, full-screen visual placeholder using D3 and SVG, with CSS positioning the body to fill the viewport.

This example displays a full-window, rounded rectangle rendered as a blank canvas using D3 v5 and SVG. The code sizes the SVG to the browser viewport and appends a single `<rect>` element with a 40-pixel corner radius. No data is loaded or displayed; the visualization serves as a minimal starting point for further development, using `d3.select` to bind the SVG element and set its attributes.

Blank Canvas

This example displays a single rounded rectangle filling the entire browser viewport, adapting its dimensions to the window’s client area. The visualization uses D3 v6 selections via the `d3.select` API to target the SVG element, then appends a `rect` with corner radius (`rx`) set to 40. The SVG’s width and height are derived from `document.body.clientWidth` and `document.body.clientHeight`, with CSS fixing the body to the screen edges and hiding overflow.

Blank Canvas

A blank, rounded rectangle fills the entire browser window. The visualization is a minimal SVG canvas that demonstrates the use of D3 v5's `select` method to resize an SVG element to the full width and height of the viewport. The code appends a single `rect` element with a 40-pixel corner radius, relying on the document's client dimensions. No data or interaction is present; the example focuses solely on the fundamental setup of an SVG drawing space.

Blank Canvas

This example fills the browser viewport with a single rounded rectangle rendered in SVG. The visualization is a blank canvas, created by selecting the `svg` element and setting its width and height to match the document body’s client dimensions, then appending a `rect` with a corner radius. The code uses D3 v5’s `select` function to manipulate the SVG and relies on CSS to fix the body’s position and hide overflow, ensuring the canvas spans the entire screen.
