This example displays a procedurally generated SVG landscape featuring a sun, sky, land, and stylized birds. The scene is animated over a 24-second cycle, with the sky and sun colors transitioning to simulate a day-night cycle. The visualization is built using the Document Object Model (DOM) API to create SVG elements, with CSS animations for the sun's movement and JavaScript to generate the scene elements.

Fork of Bird's Landscape - D3.js

A generative SVG landscape depicts a stylized scene with birds, a tree, and a sun, built entirely with native SVG elements and CSS animations. The code creates custom shapes for sky, land, birds, and foliage, using gradients and keyframe animations to simulate a day-night cycle over 24 seconds. This example relies on raw JavaScript DOM manipulation with `createElementNS` and the SVG namespace, alongside CSS for colors and motion, rather than a visualization library like D3.js.

Fork of Fork of Bird's Landscape - D3.js

Fork of Fork of Bird's Landscape uses the D3.js library (v3) to render an animated, generative SVG scene of a bird and its environment. The visualization combines a dynamically colored sky and a gradient sun, both animated over a 24-second cycle, with a procedurally drawn bird built from scalable vector paths. While the code includes helper functions for random generation, the core landscape is constructed by layering SVG elements—a bird, sky gradient, and sun—to create a looping, time-lapse-inspired aesthetic.

Fork of Fork of Fork of Bird's Landscape - D3.js

This generative SVG landscape assembles an animated scene with a day-night cycle, birds, trees, dogs, stars, and flowers. Code builds the entire composition programmatically using the `createSVGElement` helper, `animateTransform` for wing flapping, and `radialGradient`/`linearGradient` with `animate` tags to shift sky colors over 24 seconds. Birds are copied and transformed via CSS `scale` and `translate`, while moving elements like a truck use synthetic animation. The piece references prior SVG experiments for the bird, sun, and land, using raw SVG paths rather than a high-level charting library.

Fork of Fork of Bird's Landscape - D3.js

This example, titled "Fork of Fork of Bird's Landscape - D3.js," demonstrates a dynamic, full-viewport SVG landscape built with D3.js. The visualization features a continuously animating sky gradient that cycles through day and night colors, a procedurally generated terrain, three stylized birds with varied scales and rotations, and a tree. Each element is constructed programmatically using SVG, with gradients defined for the sky and a radial sun. The birds are duplicated and transformed to create depth and movement, while the sky’s color transitions smoothly over a 24-second cycle. The visualization highlights the use of SVG, JavaScript, and D3.js to create an interactive and animated natural scene.

Fork of Fork of Fork of Bird's Landscape - D3.js

This example presents an animated SVG landscape featuring a bird, trees, dogs, stars, and flowers, all rendered programmatically. The scene includes a day-night cycle simulated through animated gradients, a moving truck, and flying birds with flapping wings. Built with D3.js v3 and vanilla JavaScript, the code dynamically creates SVG elements using `document.createElementNS`, applies CSS animations, and uses SMIL animations like `animateTransform` and `animateMotion` for movement. The sky and sun gradients are defined with SVG `radialGradient` and `linearGradient` elements, animating over a 24-second loop.

Bird's Landscape

An animated SVG landscape depicts a stylized bird in flight against a shifting sky and terrain. The scene is built using the SVG API, with procedural JavaScript generating elements and applying CSS animations. A 24-second cycle animates the sky’s gradient colors to simulate day and night, while the sun’s rotation is driven by a CSS keyframe animation. The landscape features SVG paths for the bird, trees, and hills, with gradients and transforms creating depth and movement.

Fork of SVG Playing Around and Studying

The scene depicts a stylized landscape with a tree, birds, and a sun, all rendered as SVG elements that are procedurally generated and animated over a 24-second cycle. The code constructs SVG nodes using the Document API (`createElementNS`) and defines custom gradients and path data for the bird and scenery. The sky's color changes through an animated gradient, while the sun's radial gradient and bird transformations (scale, translate, rotate) are applied via CSS keyframes. This visualization uses raw SVG primitives and JavaScript, without external libraries, to create a dynamic, time-based composition.

Fork of Fork of Bird's Landscape - D3.js

This interactive SVG landscape depicts a dynamic outdoor scene with a gradient sky, sun, land, trees, birds, dogs, flowers, stars, and a moving truck. Built with native SVG and JavaScript, the visualization uses animated elements such as `animateTransform` for bird wing flaps, `animate` for sky color transitions, and CSS keyframes for a sun track. Procedurally generated and placed elements, including flies with `animateMotion`, populate the scene, while a red truck moves across a road via manual animation.
