A bowl of pink fruit transitions through a sequence of apples and a lemon in an SVG scene, demonstrating dynamic data binding with D3 v5. The visualization shows five fruit items that shrink and reposition as apples are eaten and one is replaced by a yellow lemon. Using `scaleOrdinal` for color and radius mapping, the code employs selection joins with `enter`, `merge`, and `exit` methods to update circles and labels. Elliptical fruit shapes are drawn as `rect` elements with rounded corners, styled via CSS.

Bowl of fruit

A dynamic SVG bowl of fruit demonstrates the enter, update, and exit pattern in D3 v5. The visualization initially renders five red apples as circles with labels, then sequentially removes one apple, changes a second apple into a yellow lemon, and filters out another fruit over timed intervals. Using `scaleOrdinal` for color and radius mapping, the code applies `selection.merge` to update shared attributes and manages transitions with `attr` for x-position and radius. The example relies on `setTimeout` callbacks to trigger re-renders and shows how data joins handle dynamic changes.

Bowl of fruit

A bowl of fruit shows five apples in a wide rounded rectangle, with one apple changing to a lemon and fruits being removed over time. The visualization uses D3 v5 with SVG rendering, binding fruit data to groups containing circles and text labels. d3.scaleOrdinal maps fruit types to colors and radii, while enter, update, and exit selections manage dynamic changes triggered by setTimeout intervals.

Bowl of Fruit

This example demonstrates a dynamic fruit bowl visualization where apples and lemons are drawn as circles with color and size mapped to fruit type. The scene animates through a sequence of state changes—removing fruits, replacing one type with another, and filtering—using D3.js v5 selections and merge operations. The SVG output is generated declaratively, with the `scaleOrdinal` function mapping fruit types to visual properties like fill color and radius. The bowl itself is a static rectangle with rounded corners, while the fruits are positioned and updated imperatively via a custom `fruitBowl` function that handles entering, exiting, and updating elements.

Bowl of fruit

A bowl of fruit uses D3 v5 to render a row of apples and lemons inside a rounded rectangle, updating as fruits are added, removed, or replaced over time. The visualization relies on ordinal color and size scales to map fruit types to red and yellow circles of varying radii, while SVG groups and circles are joined to data using selection.enter and merge patterns. Shape transitions are driven by timed intervals that pop, filter, and mutate the fruit array.

Bowl of Fruit

A bowl of fruit demonstrates animated transitions in D3. The visualization shows five apples rendered as red circles, with one apple turning into a lemon over time and two apples disappearing. The code uses D3 v5's data join, `scaleOrdinal` for color and radius mapping, and `selection.transition` to animate circle radius changes. SVG circles are bound to fruit objects with unique IDs, and exit transitions shrink shapes to zero before removal.

Bowl of fruits

A dynamic SVG visualization renders a changing bowl of fruits using D3 v5's data-join pattern. Five apples appear initially, then the code removes one fruit, converts another to a lemon, and filters out a third over timed intervals. The fruitBowl module applies `scaleOrdinal` for color and radius, mapping apples to red circles and lemons to yellow ones. Circles enlarge on hover via CSS, showing interactive feedback.

Bowl of Fruit

A bowl of fruit shows five apples rendered as red circles, which are eaten and replaced by a lemon over time through animated transitions. The visualization uses D3 v5’s general update pattern with `selectAll`, `data`, `enter`, `merge`, and `exit` to manage SVG circle elements, applying ordinal scales for color and radius based on fruit type. The animation sequence, driven by `setTimeout`, demonstrates adding, removing, and updating data while smoothly interpolating circle radius and position via `transition`.

Bowl of Fruit

Five fruit circles represent apples and lemons in an animated bowl. The visualization uses a D3 v5 data join to update the SVG, with fruits appearing, disappearing, and changing type over timed intervals. A scaleOrdinal color scale maps apples to blue and lemons to yellow, while another scale assigns radii of 50 and 30 pixels. The code transitions the circle radius property over one second for entering and exiting elements.
