Forked from Animated Dataflow of World Countries Tree

This example displays a hierarchical tree of world countries organized by continent and subregion. A cluster layout from D3 v5 positions nodes in a branching structure, with horizontal links rendered as SVG paths. Animated stroked paths with a dashed pattern flow along the links to create a directional dataflow effect, while text labels show each country’s name with font sizes varying by tree depth. The visualization uses `d3.hierarchy`, `d3.cluster`, `d3.linkHorizontal`, and CSS keyframe animations, loading data from a static JSON file.

Fork of Animated Dataflow of World Countries Tree

This example visualizes a hierarchical world countries tree using a cluster layout, with continents branching into subregions and individual countries. Animated dashed paths flow along the links between nodes, creating a dynamic dataflow effect over the static tree structure. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `hierarchy` and `cluster` functions, renders with SVG, and animates the paths via CSS `stroke-dashoffset` keyframes. Node labels display country and region names, and the chart supports zooming through D3’s `zoom` behavior.

Animated Dataflow of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical dataflow tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with country names displayed at the leaf nodes. Animated orange dashed paths flow along the links between parent and child nodes, creating a sense of data movement through the hierarchy. The code uses D3 v5’s `cluster` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` to position and draw the tree, with CSS `stroke-dashoffset` animations driving the flow effect. The SVG canvas supports zooming via D3’s `zoom` event, and JSON data defines the geographic structure.

Dataflow of World Countries Tree

The visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries organized by continent and sub-region. It presents the data as a horizontal dendrogram with labeled nodes and links. The D3 cluster layout computes node positions, and two sets of SVG paths are drawn: static links and animated “flow” paths with a dashed green stroke that cycles offsets via CSS keyframes, suggesting data movement down the hierarchy. The code uses D3’s `cluster`, `hierarchy`, `linkHorizontal`, `zoom`, and `event` modules, with text labels for each country and region.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, with each country name displayed as a text label connected by branching paths. The tree layout uses `d3.tree` and `d3.hierarchy` to compute node positions, while `d3.linkHorizontal` draws the curved links. The SVG rendering supports pan and zoom via `d3.zoom`, and text styling uses a Playfair Display font with white shadows for readability. Data comes from a JSON file containing the nested geographic hierarchy.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with country names displayed at varying font sizes based on their depth in the tree. It uses D3 v5 with the `d3.tree` layout and `d3.hierarchy` to compute the node positions, while `d3.linkHorizontal` generates the curved connecting paths. The SVG rendering supports zooming and panning through D3's `d3.zoom` behavior, and the data comes from a local `data.json` file containing the nested geographic structure.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree layout. It uses d3.tree and d3.hierarchy to compute the layout, and d3.linkHorizontal to draw the connecting paths. Node labels are positioned along the tree, with font size scaling by depth, and a d3.zoom behavior allows panning and zooming the SVG view. The rendering uses SVG elements styled with a green stroke and a Playfair Display font, with data loaded from a local JSON file.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a left-to-right dendrogram layout. The SVG rendering uses D3 v5’s `tree` and `hierarchy` functions to compute node positions, while `linkHorizontal` generates curved paths for parent-child connections. Country names appear as text labels with font sizes scaled inversely by depth. The data comes from a static `data.json` file, and the example is a fork that modifies layout and styling.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree layout. It uses d3.tree and d3.hierarchy to compute node positions, with linkHorizontal for curved connecting paths. The SVG rendering supports zooming and panning via d3.zoom, while text labels display country names with font sizes that decrease by node depth. Data is loaded from a local JSON file, and the styling uses custom CSS with a Playfair Display font and green stroke for links.
