Forked from Art Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion. The data is loaded from a JSON file containing nested nodes for regions and individual nations. The tree layout positions nodes horizontally, with curved links connecting parent and child elements. Users can pan and zoom using D3’s zoom behavior. The visualization is rendered as an SVG using `d3.tree`, `d3.hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` for path generation, with text labels sized by node depth.

World Countries Tree

This visualization presents the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, displayed as a horizontal tree layout. The hierarchical data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered as an SVG using D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` path generator. Node labels are positioned according to their depth, with font size decreasing at deeper levels, and the entire graphic supports pan and zoom via D3’s `zoom` behavior.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The layout uses a tree diagram with horizontal links connecting parent nodes to their children, and text labels sized inversely to depth. The implementation leverages d3.hierarchy, d3.tree, and d3.linkHorizontal to compute positions and draw SVG paths, while d3.zoom enables panning and scaling of the entire tree. Data comes from a JSON file containing the geographic classification of nations.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The tree layout renders countries as leaf nodes beneath their regional groupings, with curved horizontal links connecting parent and child nodes. The visualization uses D3 v5's `tree()` layout and `linkHorizontal()` generator, with text labels sized inversely to node depth. The SVG output is rendered dynamically from a JSON dataset, and users can navigate the hierarchy using D3's `zoom()` behavior for panning and scaling.

World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout. It loads country data from a JSON file and renders it as an SVG with D3’s `tree` and `hierarchy` functions, connecting nodes with `linkHorizontal` paths. Text labels scale in font size by depth, and the entire view can be panned and zoomed via D3’s `zoom` handler applied to a group element.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree layout. The data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered as SVG. Using d3.tree, d3.hierarchy, and d3.linkHorizontal, the code draws curved links between nodes and displays country names with font sizes that decrease by depth. The visualization supports zooming and panning via d3.zoom, with a Playfair Display font and teal-colored paths for the connections.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree diagram rendered as SVG. It uses a D3.js v5 tree layout to position nodes and links, with the `d3.hierarchy` and `d3.linkHorizontal` modules generating the tree paths. The data is loaded from `data.json`, and the visualization supports mouse-wheel zooming via d3's zoom transform, applying it to a group element. Text labels show country names with a font size that decreases with tree depth.
