This fork of an SVG Playground uses D3.js v6 to draw a static composition of a red circle and a half-ring arc in an SVG container. The code sets the circle’s fixed radius and position, then appends a group element translated to the same center point. A path is generated using the `d3.arc()` generator with inner and outer radii equal to the circle’s radius, producing a crescent-like arc spanning a half-circle angle. The example demonstrates basic SVG shape creation and D3’s path generation without interactive or data-driven behavior.
