News world 1
✓ Published0🌍 Public
A world map visualization plots news events by latitude and longitude, with color-coded markers distinguishing categories like Conflict/Warfare and Humanitarian Crisis. Clicking a marker opens a detail panel with the headline, summary, and metadata; filters allow narrowing by category or date range. Built with React and D3 v5, it uses `geoNaturalEarth1` projection, `geoPath`, and `geoGraticule` to render landmasses and graticules from TopoJSON data, plus `zoom` for pan and zoom interactions.
