This example shows a bar chart that updates its values when the user clicks on a text prompt. The chart displays a sequence of numeric values as vertical bars, each labeled with its value. The visualization uses D3.js version 4.5.0 to render the chart as SVG elements. Upon clicking, the bars and labels transition to new data with a staggered delay, where each subsequent element waits an additional 100 milliseconds before starting its 500-millisecond animation. The code uses D3's `scaleBand`, `scaleLinear`, and `transition().delay()` API to manage the layout and animated updates. The data is a hardcoded array of twenty numbers.
