Forked from Sole wit vertical Reproduction with scrip

This example reproduces Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing 370 as a horizontal sequence of green horizontal bands. The page creates an SVG element sized to the full browser window and uses a `for` loop to append 100 `rect` elements, each 10 pixels tall and spaced 20 pixels apart vertically. The code relies on the SVG DOM API via `document.createElementNS` and does not use any external libraries such as D3 or Three.js. The rendering directly mirrors the geometric simplicity of the original conceptual art piece.

Sole wit vertical Reproduction with scrip

This example reproduces Sol LeWitt's Wall Drawing No. 370 as a vertical grid of thin black rectangles that span the full browser window height. The page generates an SVG element using the `document.createElementNS` API and populates it with 100 `rect` elements, positioning each at intervals of 20 pixels along the x-axis. The script responds to the window's dimensions, setting the SVG's width and height to the viewport size, and lays out the vertical bands without any interactivity or animation. It is a straightforward, algorithmic interpretation of the original geometric artwork.

Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt–style drawing as a full-screen grid of vertical black rectangles. One hundred narrow SVG `rect` elements are laid out side by side, each ten pixels wide and spaced twenty pixels apart, creating a rhythmic, minimalist composition. The script generates the SVG dynamically using the DOM API `document.createElementNS` and appends it to the body, with dimensions matching the browser window. The rendering is purely procedural, with no external libraries or data sources.

Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This example reproduces Sol LeWitt’s wall drawing using raw SVG elements, creating a visual grid of rectangles. It begins with a single rect drawn to the page, while commented-out code outlines a more complex masked pattern of horizontal and vertical stripes. The code uses no D3 API calls for rendering, instead relying on the standard DOM methods `document.createElementNS`, `setAttribute`, and `appendChild` to build the SVG structure. The file references D3 version 7 in its JavaScript, but the active implementation is pure vanilla SVG manipulation.

Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This generative art reproduction displays a series of vertical SVG rectangles, each with a fixed width of 10 pixels, spaced 20 pixels apart across the full height of the browser window. It draws a minimalist, grid-based pattern reminiscent of Sol LeWitt’s wall drawings, created procedurally using the JavaScript DOM API `document.createElementNS` to build SVG elements. The code loops to place each rectangle, setting its `x` and `height` attributes dynamically based on the window dimensions, though a loop condition error prevents full execution. The piece relies on raw SVG manipulation rather than a charting library.

Sol Lewit Reproduction

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt-inspired wall drawing using a simple generative SVG approach. It creates 100 narrow vertical rectangles, each 10 pixels wide, spaced 20 pixels apart across the full width of the browser window, with each rectangle stretching the full height of the viewport. The code builds the SVG dynamically using the raw DOM API (`document.createElementNS`) rather than a visualization library, setting the width and height attributes from the window’s inner dimensions. No data source is used; the pattern is purely algorithmic and deterministic.

Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt art piece by rendering a series of vertical black bars. Fifty rectangles, each 10 pixels wide, are spaced 20 pixels apart across the full screen height. The visualization is built entirely with the SVG API, creating elements via `document.createElementNS` and appending them to the root `<svg>`. The code runs automatically on page load, filling the browser window with the geometric pattern.

Sol Lewitt Reproduction

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt wall drawing as an interactive SVG visualization. It renders 100 vertical rectangles, each 10 pixels wide, evenly spaced across the full viewport height. The code uses the SVG API to create and append each rectangle dynamically via `document.createElementNS`. All shapes are generated procedurally without an external dataset, directly mimicking LeWitt’s geometric style. The result is a minimalist, full-screen composition that fills the browser window.

Sol LeWitt Reproduction - Vertical Lines

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt drawing using JavaScript and the SVG API. It creates a full-screen SVG canvas and draws 100 vertical black rectangles, each 10 pixels wide and spaced 20 pixels apart, with no horizontal variation. The code uses `document.createElementNS` and `setAttribute` to generate the rectangles dynamically. The piece directly references LeWitt's instruction-based art, presenting a simple, systematic grid of vertical lines that fills the entire browser window, adapting to its dimensions.
