This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree diagram rendered with SVG. The layout is generated using `d3.tree` and `d3.hierarchy`, with links drawn via `d3.linkHorizontal`. The data, sourced from `data.json`, is loaded using `d3.json`, and the tree layout is sized to fill the browser window based on `document.body.clientWidth` and `clientHeight`.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout rendered as SVG. The code employs D3 v5's `tree()` and `hierarchy()` functions to compute node positions and draws curved links with `linkHorizontal()`. Static labels are placed at each node, and the data comes from a local `data.json` file containing the nested geographic classification.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The layout uses a tree diagram with horizontal links connecting parent nodes to their children, and text labels sized inversely to depth. The implementation leverages d3.hierarchy, d3.tree, and d3.linkHorizontal to compute positions and draw SVG paths, while d3.zoom enables panning and scaling of the entire tree. Data comes from a JSON file containing the geographic classification of nations.

World Countries Tree

This visualization presents the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, displayed as a horizontal tree layout. The hierarchical data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered as an SVG using D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` path generator. Node labels are positioned according to their depth, with font size decreasing at deeper levels, and the entire graphic supports pan and zoom via D3’s `zoom` behavior.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree diagram rendered as SVG. It uses a D3.js v5 tree layout to position nodes and links, with the `d3.hierarchy` and `d3.linkHorizontal` modules generating the tree paths. The data is loaded from `data.json`, and the visualization supports mouse-wheel zooming via d3's zoom transform, applying it to a group element. Text labels show country names with a font size that decreases with tree depth.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. It uses a horizontal tree layout, with each country name rendered as a leaf node and connections drawn as curved links. The code employs D3 v5’s `tree()` layout, `hierarchy()`, and `linkHorizontal()` path generator to position nodes and draw edges in SVG. Data comes from a local `data.json` file containing the nested geographic grouping.

World countries tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, in a horizontal tree layout. It uses d3.tree and d3.hierarchy to compute the layout, d3.linkHorizontal for the curved connecting paths, and d3.zoom for panning and zooming. The data comes from a local JSON file, rendered as SVG text labels with size varying by depth.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a tree diagram with horizontal links and labeled nodes. The layout uses the `d3.tree` and `d3.hierarchy` functions to compute node positions, while `d3.linkHorizontal` draws the connecting paths. Node labels are rendered as SVG text with font sizes scaled by depth, and the entire tree supports pan and zoom through `d3.zoom`. The data is loaded from a local JSON file via `d3.json`.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with the root labeled “World.” It uses d3.tree and d3.hierarchy to compute the layout, then renders the connections with d3.linkHorizontal as SVG paths. The data is loaded asynchronously from a local JSON file via d3.json, and the chart fills the browser viewport by setting the SVG dimensions to the client’s width and height.
