This animated SVG landscape depicts a stylized sunrise and sunset cycle over layered mountain silhouettes. The sky backdrop and terrain use radial and linear gradients, while a circle representing the sun animates its vertical position. SVG `<animate>` elements continuously shift gradient stop colors between aliceblue and steelblue, and the sun’s `cy` attribute moves from 250px to 350px and back, simulating a day-night loop. The scene combines three distinct path shapes filled with gradient definitions to create depth.

Fork of SVG Fundamentals Dynamic landscape

A dynamic SVG landscape depicts a stylized sun and layered mountains that transition through a day-night cycle. The code uses SVG gradients (`radialGradient`, `linearGradient`), animated `stop-color` values, and an animated `circle` element's `cy` attribute via the `<animate>` tag. The scene comprises three overlapping path-based terrain layers, with colors shifting between aliceblue, steelblue, and indigo over a 15-second loop. The rendering approach is pure SVG with declarative SMIL animations for both the sun’s movement and the gradient color changes.

Fork of SVG Fundamentals Dynamic landscape

A dynamic SVG landscape cycles through a day-night transition, animating a sun descending and rising over layered mountain silhouettes. The scene uses radial and linear gradients whose colors oscillate between aliceblue and indigo or steelblue, driven by SMIL `<animate>` elements on the gradient stops and the sun’s vertical position. The three mountain paths are drawn with static `d` attributes and filled with the animated gradients, producing a minimalist sunrise-to-sunset effect entirely through declarative SVG animations.

Fork of SVG Fundamentals sunset fork

This example shows an animated sunset landscape with two layered mountain silhouettes and a large sun descending against a gradient sky. The scene uses SVG elements, including circles, paths, and rectangle shapes, all rendered with radial and linear gradients. Animation comes from SVG’s `<animate>` element, which cycles the sun’s vertical position and smoothly transitions gradient stop colors from aliceblue through indigo and steelblue over a 15-second loop, shifting the mood from daylight to dusk and back.

Fork of Exercise 1: SVG Fundamentals

This example shows a stylized sunrise/sunset cycle over layered mountain landscapes, rendered as a full-screen SVG scene. The sky shifts through aliceblue, indigo, and steelblue while the sun rises and falls along a vertical path, animating continuously. The scene uses the SVG `<radialGradient>` and `<linearGradient>` definitions with `<animate>` elements to transition gradient stops and the sun’s `cy` attribute. Two `<path>` shapes fill with distinct gradients to create depth, all drawn directly in the markup without additional JavaScript libraries.

Fork of Exercise 1: SVG Fundamentals

This animated SVG scene depicts a stylized sunrise and sunset over a layered landscape. It uses an HTML `<svg>` element with CSS gradients and SVG `<animate>` tags to cycle the sky from aliceblue to indigo, move the sun downward, and shift the horizon colors over a 15-second loop. The two overlapping landscape paths use quadratic and cubic Bézier curves, filled with `radialGradient` and `linearGradient` definitions. All rendering is done directly through the SVG API, with no external JavaScript libraries.

Fork of Fork of SVG Fundamentals Sunset/Sunrise

A looping SVG animation depicts a sunset and sunrise over a stylized landscape. The sun moves vertically against a sky that transitions from aliceblue to indigo, while layered green and orange landmasses shift in color. Built with raw SVG elements—including `<radialGradient>`, `<linearGradient>`, `<circle>`, and `<path>`—the scene uses `<animate>` tags to cycle attribute values over 15 seconds, creating a continuous day-night effect.

Fork of Exercise 1: SVG Fundamentals

This example shows an animated SVG sunrise and sunset over a layered mountain landscape. The sky is a radial gradient that gradually shifts from aliceblue to indigo, while the sun moves along a vertical path from its center position downward. Three different gradient fills create depth across two landscape paths. The animation is driven by SMIL `<animate>` elements on the SVG attributes, with a 15-second cycle that repeats indefinitely. The visual demonstrates pure SVG fundamentals without external libraries.

Fork of Exercise 1: SVG Fundamentals

A self-contained SVG scene depicts a stylized sunrise and sunset over layered terrain, using only HTML, CSS, and native SVG elements without JavaScript libraries. The code applies animated radial and linear gradients to color the sky and two overlapping landscape paths, while a circle animates its vertical position to simulate the sun descending and rising. The animation repeats indefinitely over 15 seconds, cycling the sky and land gradient stops between aliceblue and steelblue. This example demonstrates fundamental SVG animation techniques through the `<animate>` element and gradient definitions, with no external data or rendering frameworks.
