This example uses D3 v5 within a React framework to render a bar chart as an SVG, displaying population data from the World Bank for selected countries. The chart encodes population values with bar heights. The code loads data from a CSV file and uses D3’s selection and scaling APIs to map the data to the chart’s coordinates. The SVG is styled with CSS rules from an external stylesheet, defining colors for bars, text, and axis elements.
