A pie chart displays the top 10 countries by deaths in 2020 from air pollution. Each slice is labeled with its death count in thousands, and a legend lists countries with corresponding values. The code uses d3.csv to load data from a GitHub gist, d3.pie, d3.arc, and d3.scaleOrdinal to generate the SVG paths and colors. Text labels are positioned using arc.centroid(). The visualization is rendered entirely with D3 v5 in an SVG canvas.
