This example shows an orthographic globe of the world’s countries, rendered with D3’s `geoOrthographic` and `geoPath` projections, overlaid with a graticule and a sphere outline. Users can pan the globe by dragging, which adjusts the rotation via a custom drag behavior, and zoom by scrolling, which scales the projection using D3’s `zoom`. The map loads geographic data from `visionscarto-world-atlas` TopoJSON, which is converted to GeoJSON with `topojson-client`, and the initial projection fits to the container size using `fitExtent`.
