Shapes SVG-CSS

Shapes with SVG & CSS

This example shows a static collection of geometric shapes composed of circles and rectangles in three color-coded groupings, alongside polygonal line drawings. The first two rows demonstrate default black shapes, a set with explicit fill colors, and a translated group with purple fill and black strokes. A lower group renders two lines and a zigzag path with a thick black outline and yellow join styling. The visualization is built with raw SVG elements inside an HTML page, styled via CSS classes that apply stroke widths and colors to the line elements.

Shapes with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates fundamental SVG shapes and CSS styling through a static composition of circles, rectangles, lines, and paths. The visualization shows how geometric primitives combine with varying fill colors, stroke properties, and transform attributes to create a structured layout. The SVG element uses nested groups with translations and scaling to position shapes, while specific fills are applied both globally and individually. The code leverages raw SVG elements like `circle`, `rect`, `line`, and `path` within an HTML5 document, with CSS handling viewport margins and overflow. The rendering approach is purely declarative, with no interactivity or data binding present.

Shapes with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates basic geometric shapes rendered as SVG elements, showing how circles, rectangles, lines, and paths can be styled directly and through CSS classes. The SVG markup defines shapes with attributes like `cx`, `cy`, `r`, and `x`, while a separate stylesheet applies visual properties such as `fill`, `stroke`, and `stroke-width` to both individual elements and grouped selections. The code uses raw SVG APIs and CSS selectors like `.lines path` to control stroke color and line joins, with transforms for scaling and translation. It illustrates static shape composition without interactivity or data binding.

Shapes with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates how to combine SVG shapes and CSS styling to create a static geometric composition. It pairs circles and rectangles with varying fills, strokes, and transformations, including a translated group of shapes outlined in black and a set of red lines with a rounded path. The visualization relies on inline SVG attributes for positioning and the `<g>` element for grouping, while an external stylesheet defines the red stroke style for lines and the stroke color for the path. The rendered output is a canvas of 960 by 500 pixels, scaled by a factor of 1.2.

Shapes with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates basic geometric shapes drawn directly with SVG elements, including circles, rectangles, lines, and paths, with styling applied through presentation attributes and a separate CSS stylesheet. The scene shows how fill colors, stroke widths, and group transformations (via the `g` element's `translate` attribute) alter the appearance of primitive shapes. The SVG markup defines shapes like a red circle, a green rectangle, and a blue group with black outlines, while the un-styled `path` and `line` elements create simple angular forms. The code relies on native SVG syntax and CSS, with no JavaScript libraries, and uses a fixed `960x900` canvas.

Shapes SVG-CSS

This gallery example demonstrates basic SVG shape rendering inside an HTML page. It displays circles, rectangles, lines, and a path, with some shapes inheriting presentation attributes from parent groups, such as a yellow fill and black stroke. The visualization uses raw SVG elements directly in the markup, with styling supplemented through a CSS file that defines a shared stroke style for line elements. Rendering is achieved through SVG’s native vector graphics, relying on no JavaScript or external charting library.

Shapes with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates basic SVG shapes and CSS styling in a static visualization. It shows circles, rectangles, lines, and a path rendered within an SVG element scaled by a factor of 1.7. The code uses inline SVG attributes like `cx`, `cy`, `r`, `x`, `y`, and `transform` to position shapes, while CSS classes define stroke properties for the line and path elements. Fill colors are applied both directly via SVG attributes and through a `<g>` group with a hexadecimal value. No data source is present; the visualization purely illustrates SVG geometric primitives.

Shapes with SVG and CSS

This example shows how basic geometric shapes like circles, rectangles, lines, and paths are drawn and arranged using SVG elements. It demonstrates SVG transforms, including scaling and translation, to position and resize shapes, as well as CSS classes to control stroke color, width, and line joins. The visualization uses raw SVG markup with inline attributes for fill and stroke, alongside a stylesheet (`styles.css`) for styling. The layout is static, strictly demonstrating fundamental SVG and CSS techniques without any data binding or interaction.
