A blank, rounded rectangle fills the entire browser viewport, creating a minimal and featureless visual canvas. The SVG element is sized to the full dimensions of the document body, and a single `rect` with a corner radius (`rx`) is appended to it. The example demonstrates a basic setup using D3's selection API (`select`) and attribute setters (`attr`) to establish a static, empty drawing area. The design relies on a fixed, full-screen CSS layout and a D3 script (`bundle.js`) to render the SVG.

Blank Canvas

A blank, rounded rectangle fills the entire browser viewport, serving as a minimal canvas with no data or marks rendered. The SVG element is dynamically sized to match the window dimensions using the D3v5 `select` API, and a single `rect` is appended with a 40-pixel corner radius. The complete visual result is a simple, frameless field, demonstrating basic SVG construction with D3’s selection and attribute-chaining methods against a fixed-position, full-screen body.

Blank Canvas

An empty, rounded rectangle fills the entire browser viewport as a static visual canvas. The page uses D3 v5 to select the SVG element, set its dimensions to the full width and height of the client area, and append a single rectangle with a 40-pixel corner radius. The example demonstrates a minimal rendering approach with no dynamic data or interaction, relying solely on `d3.select`, SVG attribute setters, and CSS to fix the body’s position and remove margins. The result is a clean, blank slate with no additional marks or animations.

Blank Canvas

A blank, rounded-rectangle canvas fills the browser window as the sole visual output. The example demonstrates a minimal SVG setup where no data is loaded or drawn beyond the background shape. It uses D3 v5 selections to size the SVG to the viewport and appends a single rectangle with rounded corners. The styling is handled by a separate stylesheet, while the rendering relies entirely on D3’s `select` and `attr` methods for SVG manipulation.

Blank Canvas

A rounded, full-viewport rectangle fills the browser window, rendered as a single SVG `<rect>` with no data mapped to it. The example demonstrates a minimal blank canvas using D3 v6's `select` and `attr` methods to set the SVG's width and height from the document body's client dimensions. The rectangle's `rx` attribute softens its corners, while CSS fixes the body to prevent scrolling. The visualization shows only this simple geometric form, with no axes, marks, or interaction beyond the static shape.

Blank Canvas

A rounded rectangle fills the entire browser viewport, creating a minimal, blank canvas within the SVG element. The visualization uses d3.select to target the SVG and sets its dimensions to match the window's inner height and width. It then appends a single rect element with a 40-pixel corner radius, styled through an external CSS file. The page is fixed to the viewport with hidden overflow, ensuring the shape remains static and unresponsive to interaction.

Blank Canvas

A blank rectangular canvas fills the browser viewport, rendered as a single rounded rectangle. The visualization demonstrates the foundational step of setting up an SVG drawing surface with D3 v5. The code uses `d3.select` to access the SVG element and sets its width and height attributes based on the document body’s dimensions. A `rect` element is appended and styled with `rx` for rounded corners, creating an empty, minimal display with no additional data or interactive elements.

Blank Canvas

A large, rounded-corner rectangle fills the entire browser viewport, its dimensions set to match the `clientWidth` and `clientHeight` of the document body. This minimal visual canvas is rendered as an SVG `rect` element, created via the D3 v5 `select` API, with an `rx` attribute of 40 to soften its corners. The example demonstrates a blank slate, showing only the foundational shape that could serve as a clipping boundary or backdrop for more complex D3 visualizations. No data or additional marks are present, relying solely on the SVG structure defined in the HTML and JavaScript files.

Blank Canvas

A blank, rounded-rectangle canvas fills the entire browser viewport, with its width and height set to the document’s client dimensions. The example demonstrates a minimal SVG setup using D3 v5, where the `select` and `arc` functions are imported but only `select` is used to append a single styled `<rect>`. The visualization shows no data or interaction, serving purely as an empty starting point. It relies on the D3 selection API and SVG attributes, with CSS fixed positioning to prevent page scrolling.
