A vibrant and dynamic data-art piece that presents five concentric, hand-crafted Buddhist figures rendered as intricate SVG paths. Built with React, the visualization layers multiple semi-transparent Buddhas in a radial arrangement, each composed of thousands of randomly generated polygon points that create a textured, almost pointillist effect. The opacity of 0.8 allows the five figures to visually merge while their distinctive color palettes—ranging across warm reds, greens, and blues—emerge from a black background. The work explores themes of multiplicity, impermanence, and meditative repetition through computational randomness and structured geometry, transforming a spiritual icon into a mesmerizing pattern of color and form.

5 Buddhas

This visualization presents "5 Buddhas," a vibrant and overlapping composition built with React and rendered as SVG. The artwork layers five distinct Buddha silhouettes, each constructed from a dense arrangement of semitransparent, randomly colored polygons that create a mosaic-like texture. The polygons are generated procedurally using nested array maps, with their positions, colors, and rotations determined by pseudo-random calculations based on array indices. The background is black, and each Buddha shape is rendered with rotated, semi-opaque polygons in bright, varied hues, producing a glowing, kaleidoscopic effect. The piece merges computational randomness with the iconographic stability of the Buddha form, creating a hypnotic, meditative visual. The code demonstrates a creative use of React and SVG for generative art, where the deterministic random seed ensures the intricate, layered patterns remain consistent across renders.

5 Buddhas

A generative SVG visualization renders five layered Buddha silhouettes in vivid, randomly generated colors atop a black background. The work uses React to construct the scene, combining a gridded field of semi-transparent rotating polygons with repeated Buddha path shapes. The polygons are generated from nested array maps, with randomized positioning, colors, and rotation, while the central Buddha figures are drawn from detailed path data and scaled copies. The overlapping, translucent forms create depth and a sense of multiplicity, echoing the title’s reference to five Buddhas.

5 Buddhas

A single SVG scene depicts five overlapping buddha figures, rendered in a vibrant array of colors. Built with React, the visualization layers semi-transparent, diamond-shaped polygons generated through nested array iterations, with each shape's position, size, and color determined by pseudo-random values. A central Buddha silhouette, drawn as an intricate SVG path, is repeated five times, with each instance rotated and scaled to create a kaleidoscopic, symmetrical composition against a black background. The piece blends generative randomness with structured iconography, producing a hypnotic, mandala-like effect.

5 Buddhas

This visualization renders five semi-transparent, rainbow-colored Buddha silhouettes in a diamond grid against a black background. Each Buddha is drawn as an SVG path, layered and rotated at 45-degree angles, with overlapping semi-transparent polygons creating a kaleidoscopic, generative color effect. Built with React and rendered as SVG, the piece uses deterministic pseudorandom point generation and opacity layering to give the repeated sacred forms a luminous, abstract quality. The title plays on the five iterations of the figure displayed across the canvas.

5 Buddhas

This visualization, rendered with React and SVG, presents a generative, kaleidoscopic mandala of five overlapping Buddha-like forms. The piece layers thousands of randomly generated, semi-transparent polygons in a dense, radial arrangement. Each polygon’s position, color, and rotation are derived from a grid of numeric values (A) via randomized calculations, producing a vibrant, chaotic interplay of translucent shapes over a black background. A central, meticulously detailed Buddha silhouette anchors the composition, while the surrounding generative geometry creates a sense of depth and infinite repetition. The work blends structured iconography with algorithmic randomness, resulting in a visually rich and contemplative piece.

5 Buddhas

Three overlapping buddha silhouettes are drawn in a layered composition across a black background, with the path data rendered as repeated geometry. The visualization uses React to render the SVG elements, mapping over nested arrays to generate numerous rotated polygons with randomized positions and colors, creating a dense, organic field around the central shapes. The buddha figures themselves are defined by complex SVG path strings, while the surrounding polygons are produced through iterative array mapping in JavaScript, giving the piece a chaotic, generative quality.

5 Buddhas

5 Buddhas visualizes five nearly identical Buddhist figures drawn as layered SVG paths, each repeated in a 21×21 grid of circles generated from a cube-root sequence. The React app maps over arrays to render hundreds of tiny, randomly colored and positioned circles beneath a single large black-and-white Buddha path, creating a dense, decorative halo. Semi-transparent circles with random RGB values produce a shimmering, pointillist effect against the black background, while the central Buddha figure is scaled and translated to sit atop the field of dots. The piece plays with scale, repetition, and color opacity to blend sacred geometry with generative art.

5 Buddhas

Five Buddhas materialize across a black field, each rendered as an overlapping array of colorful, rotated polygons that create a dense, shimmering backdrop. The main Buddha figure appears as a detailed SVG path, repeated within the composition to form a quintet of meditative forms. Built with React and SVG, the visualization generates small dynamic polygons using JavaScript’s `Math.random()` for positioning, fill colors, and rotation, while the central path data is hardcoded. The code maps over nested arrays to produce hundreds of these shapes, creating a generative, layered aesthetic over the static Buddha figures.
