This example shows a 3D bar plot of UN Population data for 2019, rendering the top 10 countries as extruded cubes arranged along a grid. The visualization uses d3-3d to project 3D geometry into SVG paths, with each cube colored distinctly and labeled with its population value. Users can drag to rotate the scene, adjusting the cube orientations through d3.drag and the d3-3d rotation methods. The initial dataset is loaded via d3.csv from a GitHub gist, while the separate index.js file demonstrates an alternative Plotly-based scatter3d approach using different data.
