Forked from Let's make a face with D3.js!

A nearly blank canvas renders as a single rounded rectangle filling the browser viewport, sized dynamically to the window dimensions. The example demonstrates minimal D3.js usage with the `select` function to query an SVG element, then applies width and height attributes and appends a `rect` with a fixed corner radius. The visualization is purely geometric, with no data or interaction, serving as a template for React-based D3 projects. The styling enforces a fixed full-screen layout using CSS body rules.

Blank Canvas

An empty SVG canvas fills the browser viewport with a single rounded rectangle, creating a blank slate for visualization. The example demonstrates a minimal React setup where D3 v5 selects the root SVG element and sets its dimensions to match the window. Using the `d3.select` API, the code appends a `rect` element with a 40-pixel corner radius to the SVG, styling it as a softly rounded full-screen backdrop. The rendering relies solely on SVG primitives, with no data binding or interaction logic present.

Blank Canvas

A blank SVG canvas fills the browser viewport, rendered as a single rounded rectangle that adapts to the window’s dimensions. The example demonstrates a minimal setup for D3 v5 with React, using `select` from `d3` to target the `<svg>` element and setting its `width` and `height` attributes based on `document.body.clientWidth` and `document.body.clientHeight`. The code appends a `rect` with a 40-pixel corner radius via SVG’s `rx` attribute, while the stylesheet fixes the body to prevent scrolling. It serves as a starting point for building more complex visualizations.

Blank Canvas

A blank SVG canvas fills the viewport, with a single rounded rectangle covering its full width and height. The code uses D3's `select` to grab the SVG element, then sets its dimensions based on `document.body.clientWidth` and `clientHeight`. A `rect` is appended with `rx` for rounded corners. The visualization demonstrates a minimal setup with D3 v5, React, and SVG, where the data is simply the viewport geometry itself.

Blank Canvas

A blank canvas fills the browser window, rendered as a single rounded rectangle. The visualization demonstrates the minimal setup for a D3 project, with no data or interaction. The code uses `d3.select` to target the SVG element and dynamically sizes it to the viewport's client dimensions. A `rect` is appended to the SVG, inheriting the full width and height with a corner radius, all rendered as vector graphics. The example relies on D3 v5’s core selection methods, not any specialized visualization API.

Blank Canvas

A blank, rounded rectangle fills the entire browser window. The visualization is a minimal SVG canvas that demonstrates the use of D3 v5's `select` method to resize an SVG element to the full width and height of the viewport. The code appends a single `rect` element with a 40-pixel corner radius, relying on the document's client dimensions. No data or interaction is present; the example focuses solely on the fundamental setup of an SVG drawing space.

Blank Canvas

A blank canvas fills the browser window with a single rounded rectangle, demonstrating the simplest possible SVG rendering with D3.js. The visualization uses the `select` function from D3 to target the SVG element, then dynamically sets its width and height based on the viewport dimensions. The code appends a `rect` element with rounded corners (`rx` attribute) that covers the entire canvas, creating a subtle frame effect. The page layout is controlled with fixed positioning and hidden overflow in CSS, ensuring the canvas remains perfectly sized to the viewport without scrollbars.

Blank Canvas

A blank SVG canvas fills the browser viewport, rendered as a rounded rectangle that spans the full width and height of the window. The visualization uses D3 v5 and React, with the code selecting the SVG element via `d3.select` to set its dimensions based on the document body’s client size. The rendering approach is SVG, drawing a single rectangle with a 40-pixel corner radius. No data source is present; this serves as a minimal starting point for building interactive graphics.

Blank Canvas

A blank SVG canvas fills the browser window with a single rounded rectangle. The visualization demonstrates minimal setup using D3 v5, where the `select` method targets the SVG element and sets its dimensions to match the viewport. A rect with a 40-pixel corner radius is appended to create the sole visual element. The example relies on the document body's client dimensions to size the canvas, with CSS constraining the page layout to prevent scrolling.
