A red rectangle fills the entire SVG canvas with a green circle centered on top, while white text reading "SVG" sits over both shapes. The example demonstrates fundamental SVG shape elements rendered directly through inline SVG markup in HTML. It uses no JavaScript libraries, instead relying solely on native SVG tags including `rect`, `circle`, and `text`, with attributes controlling dimensions, positions, colors, and font styling.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates the fundamental SVG shape elements—circle, rect, and path—positioned within a fixed 940x460 canvas. The shapes use basic visual styling properties including fill colors, stroke colors, and stroke width, all defined as SVG attributes. The HTML document embeds the SVG markup directly, with a cascading style sheet rule that sizes a message container but remains unused. The rendered output is a simple composition of geometric forms on a yellow background with a black border, illustrating core vector graphics concepts without external libraries.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates basic SVG shapes directly in HTML, showing how circles, rectangles, and lines render with stroke, fill, and thickness properties. A red-outlined circle appears next to a filled red circle with a black border, while a blue-bordered white rectangle and a thin diagonal line complete the composition. The visualization uses raw SVG elements within a 500x500 canvas, relying on the browser’s built-in SVG rendering API rather than a JavaScript library like D3. The shapes are static, with no data binding or interaction, serving purely as a primer for SVG’s coordinate system and attribute syntax.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates basic SVG shape primitives, combining circles, a rectangle, a line, and a path within a fixed 950×500 canvas. The SVG rendering shows layered elements, including a large green circle with a smaller red center point, a red rectangle with a navy border, and arbitrary geometric paths. The code uses native SVG APIs directly in the HTML, with attributes for positioning, fills, strokes, and stroke widths, illustrating fundamental vector graphics without external libraries.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates the fundamental building blocks of SVG graphics embedded directly in an HTML page. It shows two circles rendered with SVG, one using the default black fill and the other explicitly set to red via the `fill` attribute, alongside a large text element styled through CSS. The visualization uses raw SVG elements within the HTML markup, with the `<circle>` and `<div>` tags, and applies styling through a `<style>` block. No JavaScript libraries are involved, relying solely on the native SVG API to illustrate basic vector rendering.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates the fundamental building blocks of SVG by rendering a single red circle on a blank canvas. It shows how basic shape elements, such as `<circle>`, are positioned using `cx` and `cy` coordinates and styled with the `fill` attribute. The code uses raw SVG within an HTML page, setting a fixed viewport of 960 by 500 pixels. The rendering approach is straightforward declarative markup, with no JavaScript or external libraries involved.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates fundamental SVG shapes as a static, visually organized reference. It renders red, green, and blue circles of varying sizes, a yellow rectangle with a navy outline, a diagonal line, and an angular path composed of straight segments. The code uses the SVG API directly through inline `<circle>`, `<rect>`, `<line>`, and `<path>` elements within an HTML document. Each shape is styled with explicit `fill`, `stroke`, and `stroke-width` attributes, with no JavaScript or external libraries involved, providing a plain illustration of vector graphics primitives.

SVG Fundamentals

This example showcases the fundamental building blocks of SVG graphics, demonstrating how to create basic shapes like circles and rectangles. The SVG canvas displays several circles with varying radii and fill colors—red, green, and blue—alongside two rectangles with distinct stroke colors and widths (magenta and navy). The code uses raw SVG markup within an HTML document, styled with minimal CSS that sets a large font size for the message text. The rendering approach relies on declarative SVG elements such as `<circle>` and `<rect>`, directly embedded in the markup with attributes like `cx`, `cy`, `r`, `fill`, and `stroke`.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates fundamental SVG shapes including circles, rectangles, and lines arranged on a 960x500 canvas. The visualization shows how basic geometric primitives are defined with attributes such as position, radius, fill color, and stroke properties. It uses raw SVG markup embedded directly in the HTML, with shapes rendered via the browser’s native SVG API without any additional JavaScript libraries. The code includes a red-filled circle, a green circle, a blue-outlined rectangle with no fill, and a diagonal navy line, illustrating core vector graphics rendering approaches.
